For all those who fear that the upcoming monsoon season will devastate their precious gadgets there are some encouraging news-the Sony India has introduced its series of water resistant and washable Walkman W&B series MP3 in the country. The Walkman W series allows for the walkman to be used in rainy conditions and even to be cleaned with running water. The waterproof series includes 2 models- the NWZ-W450 and the NWZ-B150.

The NWZ-W250 playback time of 11 hours and full charge enough for 90 minutes. The model boasts a quick charge function that enables the Walkman to play up to 90 minutes of music with only 3 minutes charging time. The NWZ-W450 is extremely light, weighing around 43 grams. It is available in three colors.

The NWZ-B150 has one touch Bass enhancer with a red power illuminator. This model has also a metallic paint finish on its USB cap. The Quick charge feature gives the chance for users to enjoy 90 minutes of music playback with 3minutes charging time. The Walkman can operate also with long batteries which have a life span of 18 hours with 70 minutes full charging time.

Both models use the simple drag and drop function for transfer of music files. They are also equipped with ZAPPIN feature, which plays the chorus of each song when activated, thus allowing the users to scan through their library of music files and find the specific song they want to hear. The Walkman B Series offers also MP3 music playback to voice and FM recording.

The NWZ-W250 is distributed in three colors-Black, White and Pink. Its price is Rs 4990.the NWZ-B150 is available in Black, Pink, Red and Gold colors. The price for this model starts from Rs 2890.
