Nokia N900 Launched In India

Nokia has launched its Maemo 5 based tablet N900 in India Officially. Earlier the tablet was sold in the grey market, seeing its demand in the grey market Nokia thought of bringing in the handset officially to India and that is exactly what it has done today.

The device has got an impressive hardware specification like an ARM Cortex A8 which provides 1GB of memory for applications and Open GL ES 2.0 Graphics acceleration support.

It has a Linux based Maemo 5 Operating system for multitasking and has a WVGA touch screen with full slide out QWERTY keys. It has an inbuilt memory of 32 GB and can support upto 48 GB through the expansion slot.

Looking at its picture quality it has got a decent 5 mega pixel camera. . All the other features you might expect find their way in as well. We're talking about the A-GPS and FM transmitter support. On the connectivity front, it supports HSPA Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity as well.

The N900 is priced at Rs.30,639/- which is on a little expensive side.
