Mercedes Benz SLS AMG is a luxury sedan with two doors. Its price will be far higher in India then Europe (5-6 crores) due to the high import duties and other taxes. It is decided that Mercedes SLS AMG will be launched in India by the third quarter of the 2010.The exact date has not been set although.
This model of Mercedes will be much more expensive than the other because of its looks, better performance and improved stability which the other models do not possess. The car enchanted many people when it was displayed on the Auto expo Delhi 2010.The four- wheeled demon boasts aluminum space frame and doors which open upwards just like a gull wing.

The acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/hr is 3.8 seconds.The speed is limited electronically to not more than 317 km/h and the consumption of fuel is 13.2 litres in 100 kilometers. When it is launched, this car will be one big beast product of state of the art engineering.
