Attach your files with ease to your Gmail account with a drag and drop feature. Earlier in 2009, the multi-attachment feature was included in Gmail. Google has now come up with a new feature for called drag and drop file to support Gmail users to upload their attachments.
This feature is supported only on the latest versions of Firefox 3.6 and Google Chrome. But the bad thing about this is that, this attachment feature should have been implemented long before.
Searching of the files for attachment can be tough at sometimes and thus many people will try to save the files on the desktop. Just think of it, the problem to click on Attach Files and then search the files that are present remote and different folder.
This new Drag and Drop file feature supported in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox web browsers will let you can attach as many files sizes of under 20MB total. Select files from any place on your PC or Mac, drag them to the Gmail's 'Attach Files' area and drop them. The progress bar will now indicate the attachment status of those files.
This new feature of attachment support will make your work easy but still don’t forget to select the files only that you want. Google promised to bring this support for other browsers soon.
