Earlier, Vodafone has launched two low-end phones - the 150 and the 250, both of which cost less than Rs. 1,000 this year. Vodafone 845, the first Android 2.1 wrapped with 360 service Smart phones have started knocking the technology door now.
Vodafone 845, the name may be altered during its release, will be a cheap Android based smart phone with just the basic features of any new Android based device. In addition to it, Vodafone ready to launch two new Microsoft Project Pink phones very soon.
The Vodafone 845’s QVGA touch screen covers an area of about 2.8 inch display with additional features like HSPDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and Vodafone 360 services offering you 1GB free download monthly.
It has an in-built memory of 512MB internal memory and micro-SD expansion slot as well. It also has a 3.2 MP camera which makes photography at its best, powered by a 1200 mAh battery and run with Android 2.1
The phone is expected to be launched in May in Europe for €150 and will sooner be in India as well.
