Google's Test Phone Nexus One, a Snoozer
All those stories of Google's Phone is coming out to be true. People started spotting Google's latest smartphone (GPhone or Nexus One).

Google gave out Android powered mobile phone to their employees last week. It is a device that combines innovative hardware from a partner with software that runs on Android to experiment with new mobile features and capabilities

• The phone has trackball.
• It doesn't have a physical keyboard.
• Google Nexus aka GPhone is a GSM phone.
• It runs on Android 2.1 Operating System. updated OS features new 3D elements to the app tray, as well as an extended amount of homescreens
• The phone also appears to come loaded up with Google Navigation
• The phone has MicroSD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 7.2mbps down and 2-MBps up speed.
• The phone is ‘really, really fast,’ says someone who has seen one in action. It runs on a Snapdragon chip, has a super high-resolution OLED touchscreen, is thinner than the iPhone, has no keyboard, and two mics. The mic on the back of the phone helps eliminate background noise, and it also has a ‘weirdly’ large camera for a phone. And if you don’t like the touchscreen keyboard, a voice-to-text feature is supposed to let you dictate emails and notes by speaking directly into the phone
• The phone will be sold unlocked. So if you can get your hands on this mobile, you can use Nexus One on Airtel, Reliance, Vodafone, Aircel or any GSM network in India.

Rumors say that Google plans on selling it outright as early as the first quarter of 2010 (according to most articles I downloaded by rapidshare SE ) , and possibly as early as January. There’s unconfirmed reports that the phone might be sold by T-Mobile, but not exclusively and not subsidized.
What has me beat is the risk assessment of Google selling its own phone. In the for column the reasoning is fairly simple and logical: despite the promise of Android, no one has really delivered a true iPhone killer yet, and those that were suppose to deliver either didn’t, or fell just short. With Google dictating the specs on a phone operating its own OS, in theory you might actually get a phone that Google had hoped that others would deliver.

I think this wil be the big boss when its released in India and wil participate in competing against apple's iPhone, Nokia, Samsung or Moto or any other. Android wil definitely coming out with faster, high resolution and swiftier platform. so anybody out there waiting for brand new GSM, i would definitely recommend them to wait for the "BIGHEARTED"...
