Its an undeniable fact that the unemployed youth mostly constitute the addas.But the addas are so addictive that these people can never forget the charm of a harmless adda. They continue meeting at the appointed time in their fixed rendezvous even after getting employed.
So may be Reliance's BigAdda is going to be similar addiction for internet community (I dont want to use the word but I cant resist myself so here you go. BigAdda.com would be the similar addiction for "Internet Junkies") no offense to anybody. :-)
What are the features ?? Well the same as most of the other social networking sites but in addition, you can have photos, videos, your own blogs and ADDAs (something similar to yahoo/google groups).
You can Add unlimited photos to your gallery! Create your own albums, write captions, and add comments.
You can Choose from Hollywood, Bollywood and even Tollywood and other regional videos. Choose from various categories including comedy, commercials, travel, etc and upload them.
So may be its a combination of MySpace, Orkut, YouTube and Yahoo/Google Groups. This is really a well thought product and can definately beat all other social networking sites.
I was not able to find out the official blog from BigAdda. Most of the links that shows up in google is not working anymore. May be they had their blog initially to get user feedback (to choose template/logo) and now removed that.
I personally haven't tried loging into the site but will give it a try pretty soon.
