Here is a great news for Windows Mobile lovers. Skype has just released its version Skype 2.5 Beta for Windows Mobile which works on all Smartphones and Pocket PC phones. Two years back I was looking for Skype application for my Motorola Q and couldn't find actual Skype app for Win Mobile. There was a different version for Skype that worked for Motorola Q that time but it wasn't stable.
Now that Skype has released its app for Windows Mobile, I am giving it a try right now. The application looks stable and has same features as its desktop applications. It includes skype to skype calls, free instant messaging and you can use your Skype Credit to make calls to other phones using Windows Mobile.
So if your Windows Mobile phone has Wi-Fi, you can start making calls using your Skype all over the world. Though I am not a big fan of Skype as it uses its proprietary software. I would rather vote for applications like Fring or Gizmo as you can use 'em to make calls using SIP. SIP is actually becoming industry standard for VoIP applications.
