Living with your family has its own advantages and disadvantages. You know how it feels when your loved one is away from home and doesn't return on time. You are worried about them and then comes the cell phones. You constantly call your family member to know where they are right now.
What if you can track your loved ones right from your mobile phone? Is it possible? I guess it is now with MapMyIndia's new iNav mobile GPS. MapMyIndia launched their MapMyIndia Launches Maps and GPS for Mobile back in May. Now they have improved their mobile GPS iNav.
New MapMyIndia iNav application can not only give you turn-by-turn voice navigation anywhere across the India but can also be used for personal tracking and safety.
So for e.g. as soon as you start your journey, instruct iNav to send your location coordinates to your loved one's mobile phone, which also has iNav running. At regular intervals, iNav will send SMS messages to your loved ones phone, which will pull out the latitude-longitude details. These will be shown as your exact location on the iNav application on your loved ones phone. This is a permission-based service, so you can choose who you want to inform of your whereabouts, and can also choose to turn it on or off whenever you want.
Family based mobile plans haven't started in India but western countries like USA has many mobile operators who offer family plans. MapMyIndia has really a good potential in selling iNav as it includes the family values and emotional factor. Mobile operators can also use this iNav software to sell their mobile plans for family.
I think MapMyIndia should make a touchy commercial about this personal tracking software iNav and I bet it will get good response.
