Yahoo has just released its popular mobile application oneConnect for iPhone. Yahoo oneConnect is currently available for preview for iPhone/iPod Touch. Yahoo oneConnect for iPhone is free and can be downloaded from iTunes Store.
The biggest and most attracting feature of iPhone Yahoo oneConnect is that it supports SMS messages to contacts in your Yahoo Address Book. iPhone Yahoo oneConnect integrates full-featured phone book from your Yahoo Address Book, iPhone and your social networks.
So basically if your friends/family/contacts have their contact numbers listed in your Yahoo address book, you can send and receive SMS using Wi-Fi (Or data connection) without using your provider's SMS plans. So basically you can use unlimited SMS to your Yahoo Address Book contacts with Yahoo oneConnect.
I think this feature is only available for iPhone or iPod touch oneConnect application. I wish this was available for other phone's oneConnect application too!!
I feel that this feature would not stay longer because of the "Free SMS" and 'iPhone" hype.. so you might want to get your hands on it and use it before its gone.
