Now you don't have to visit the product page, instead you can get email alerts right in your mailbox with the price drop notifications. Over the weekend I got an email about this new website based out of Silicon Valley called ShoppingNotes.com which is shopping bookmark powered with price watch engine.
It is a place to save all your favourite products you find it anywhere on the internet and when the prices drop, you get alerts. The service is free and doesn't require you to install anything.(You can have the site bookmared for your browser though). All you have to do is enter the product URL and your email address. Your shopping notes will come with images and prices, you can sort or classify your shopping notes anyway you like.
I have just bookmarked the product from IndiaTimes.com and am waiting to see how it works out for Indian sites.
Updates: Meng, the founder of ShoppingNotes.com just dropped his comment mentioning that ShoppingNotes currently does not support Indian Rupee so product sites with INR prices would not work. Currently ShoppingNotes supports only USD.
Give it a try, ShoppingNotes.com
PS: On the similar note, there was an Indian startup called ShoppingShouts that now has changed to ShopNdShout.com which allows you to share your shopping deals with your friends.
