Yet another city portal for bangalore. I don't want to repeat myself over and over again but what can I say? Another city portal and city specific local search engine? Just found this new startup called Yulop.com. The site is the combination of city portal, local search engine and book shopping site. The city local search is also available on mobile.
The site's flagship products namely, Swami's Bengaluru, CityFind, Books Kannada and Mobile are very much region focussed providing a platform to build upon the community, allow to discover one's roots by means of regional language, culture & local flavour. One thing I don't understand about current Indian IT trend is that why do people re-invent the wheel? Considering that bangalore currently have couple other city local search engines, do they provide redundant information or they have something unique?
