Sometimes things make me believe that we are going full circle. I would have never thought about bartering in current age. Barter is a type of trade that doesn't use any medium of exchange, in which goods or services are exchanged for other goods and/or services. It can be bilateral or multilateral as trade.

But guess what? Just found out a new website called GiveNTake.in, the Web's premier free, full-service bartering site. Basically you can sell your service or product in return of a service or a product. You can also make or receive cash offer if you would like. The website is totally free and doesn't charge anything.

The concept here is, you specify the MVP of your product or service. the price you ascertain you would be get from the open market if you sell the product. This will help to evaluate your product. Similarly the product you like would also have MVP and you can directly make exchange offer to that user. If you are creative, you can make more cash or get lucky. Its basically an ebay for Bartering.

One thing I don't understand from their demo is, how the actual transaction happen? Do you personally have to meet the person? What if they are living in two different cities? Do they provide any mail service? Courier service? If its free I doubt if they provide courier service.
