The first & fresh edition of Google Magazine called as Think Quarterly. As whole it is containing total 68 pages which deal with the world of data and its impact on various kinds of businesses. The foremost thing that you will notice about this online magazine by Google is that it’s an eye-catching piece of work. It’s a completely lavishing content along with finishing visuals. It’s principally an app that is designed in Flash and the contents along with the designed interfaces and edited by a very creative agency The Church of London. Currently it features no advertising and is totally free to view.
In other way, Google has simply created an interesting way of representing the articles. It offers a readable version along with the magazine (62 pages in this first edition) either in a full-screen view. It relishes the magazine experience on the screen (this looks best on a big widescreen monitor) or as conventional online texts. Even you can also subscribe to the publication’s RSS feed. According to Google, The first issue of Think Quarterly is already freely available online and is fully dedicated to data, including data obesity, data impotence, data overload and open data. Interior sources inside the magazine say it launched on March 21, though there is no such official post or news of the magazine on Google's blog, Twitter feed, Facebook page or newsroom. It means Google has carried out the whole launching process in a quite silence manner. Upcoming next issue of Think Quarterly will be available in May, followed by the third issue in July and the fourth one in October.
Whatever you call it….. It’s an exciting & amazing gift from Google. Enjoy it & do share your experiences with us also :)
