Twitter has grown from a simple micro social networking platform to a product launch, product promotion platform. I remember how Dell made millions of dollars promoting their products via twitter.

If you are an e-commerce company and want to promote your product, now you have a platform that will help you promote your brand or a product without having a huge marketing budget.

Hexolabs, a UP based company launched a human powered ad network on Twitter, a great online advertising and marketing platform to take your product across the continents in a very short time.

The website is called TwitGuru.com.  Twitguru uses the wisdom of the crowd to spread your words. The User evaluates and endorses the product to his fellow tweeple. It is kind of a game. Users compete on the twitguru platform to win the product for FREE. Follow the diagram below to understand how it works.

Now the question I have is, will it fly far? For the users, as long as something is free, they get involved into it but once the "free" part is over, it fades away. So for the advertiser, its good to get the word out for the product and get an attention for the product but I am not sure it will bring in more leads or sales.

What do you think?
