MessageParty - Location Based Chat App For iPhone

A new iPhone application called the Message Party was introduced recently. Message Party helps you to create your own chat rooms, but with a new perspective.

The new chat rooms that you create are location aware. What that means is that if you want to create a chat room that will only be joined by people of your state, you can do that now. In fact, if you want you can go hyper-local by opening a chat room that will be attended by people of your neighborhood only.

The Message Party chat room service can be put to good use in several ways. For instance,if you are hosting a conference you can create a chat room that will be attended by the participants of the conference only.

However, a category of chat room called Everyone Party has also been included in the application. This is really a good idea if you are trying to find friends in your city but there is no one to talk to. You can always globalize your chat room scope and find people to converse with.
