Mobile 4 Mumbai is a mobile software development group that was formed especially for Mumbai has now launched a cell phone app named as Mumbai Auto.
This application doesn’t require any data connection to function. It will keep the Auto Rickshaw customers and their drivers updated about the latest Fares for using Auto Rickshaws on their mobile.
This application as said earlier doesn’t need any data connection like GPRS or you need not send any SMS to know about the Fares. This app was made as a social service for Mumbai. Mobile 4 Mumbai has made this app available for all java compatibility phones whose price may range between Rs 2,000 and 50,000.
During the launch of the Mumbai Auto app, manager of Mobile 4 Mumbai Saumil Parekh stated that, this app installed on mobile will benefit all Mumbai people or visitors and every Auto Rickshaw passengers in Mumbai by providing them information about the Fares.
