All those Symbian fanboys out there, hang in there because if you are using Symbian^3 handset, an update Symbian Anna is available for you now. The Symbian Anna update is Available for N8, E7, C7 and C6-01 users across Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, Germany, India, Indonesia, Kuwait, Norway, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Thailand, UAE, and the UK

Symbian Anna includes following updates:

  • improvements to the browser and maps

  • new icons

  • a virtual portrait QWERTY keypad

  • split-screen messaging

  • NFC capabilities to the C7 (With NFC you can transfer photos, contacts with your friends with C7 just by tapping your handsets together)

If you're interested in upgrading, you can download Anna using the latest version of Ovi Suite (3.1.1), or with an OTA update. If you are planning to update your phone via OTA, make sure you have steady and reliable internet connection (preferrebaly Wi-Fi). If not, just using your Ovi PC Suite to upgrade your Nokia phones to Symbian Anna.
