The Common Admission Test (CAT) is an all-India test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as an entrance exam for the management programmes of its seven business schools. The IIMs opted for computerized CAT 2009 to enhance the quality of test including providing a more conducive environment for testing as compared to paper and pencil test.

About 2.42 lakh candidates registered for CAT 2009. And today is the day of their fate. The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) officials have announced that the results of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2009 will be out online on Sunday, February 28, 2010.

So keep your eyes open for your CAT 2009 results online.

IIMs provided several other options for candidates to get CAT scores.

1. Send SMS to 57333. Type “CAT test registration number date of birth (ddmmyy)” or “CAT test registration number application number”. For example: “CAT 5370082 030482″ or “CAT 5370082 123456″

2. Dial the IVRS lines: 079-26307258.
