Opera Mini Browser is once again declared as the most used web browsers across the globe. This time in India, it is rated as second most used browser. According to 'State of Mobile Web' report, Opera Mini software has incorrigible that their Opera Mini browser is the second most used browser in the country. Report says Opera market quite expanded in the last two years, it was found about millions of active users in the 22 countries round the world. Combining Russia, Indonesia, India, Ukraine, U.S, & China, among others, India, at present ranks second with an annual growth rate 180 million MB of traffic coming in through the Opera Mini browser. The report also stated that, "Despite the fact that Opera Mini was not designed to be a Smartphone browser (that’s what Opera Mobile is for), many smartphone users do, in fact, use it, as do even more became non-Smartphone users."  

Google, Facebook and YouTube were the most popular websites accessed, and Opera users preferred Nokia's 2690, 2700c and 5130, while using net through the browser.  If we go as per October 2011 report, Opera Mini users generated over 1,360 million MB of data for different operators worldwide. Data consumption went up by 8.7% more as compared to September usage rate. Data in the Opera Mini browser is compressed by up to 90% & in an uncompressed; Opera Mini users would have viewed over 12.7 petabytes of data in October. Overall data traffic is up 120.8%.

The best part of Opera Mini browser is about sustainability & suitability with all mobile makers and models.  Nokia & many other providers are giving default Opera Mini browser along with model itself.
