Facebook and PayPal infrastructure have now merged. This has personalized the idea of sending money. There are many ways to pay on Facebook with PayPal. One is Payvment. This is the first application to allow a friend to friend payment via Facebook and PayPal. There is no fee attached to the transaction. PayPal’s international fees and regular limits may still apply. Sending money from person to person is free if it is funded by a PayPal balance or linked to a bank account. The eCard aspect is being focused on apart from the elementary function of the Send Money App to allow transactions across the largest social network.
PayPal has pointed out that there are more than five hundred million eCards that are sent every year and they are offering several choices from congratulations to birthdays. The App is likely to really take off. Users who will realize on Facebook when it is the birthday of their friends; they can quickly access the App and send an eCard and some money in just a few minutes. The App is also useful for things like reimbursing friends for lunch or other dues and will help in making social payments a reality.
