If you are dreaming of a renowned Honda car, there could not be better news for you!  After reducing the price of the premium Honda car, Honda City by Rs 66,000, the company has once again slashed the price of the hatchback model Jazz by staggering amount of Rs 1.75 lakhs. The price cut by Honda is certainly create waves among the rival makers and is good news for the keen buyers desiring to possess a Honda.

 

The news of this drastic price reduction is confirmed by the dealers who are already out with the new price list of the Honda cars. The base model of Jazz which was having a price tag of Rs 7.37 lakhs earlier is now offered at Rs 5.8 lakhs.

Jazz Select was another Honda model which was previously sold at Rs 7.48 lakhs is now sold at just Rs 5.91 lakhs. Similar reduction has made the top of the line Honda Jazz X now available at just Rs 6.25 lakhs and this means a reduction of Rs 1.56 lakhs compared to the old price. The prices which are shown above are the ex-showroom prices and the price list was effective immediately as confirmed by a Honda dealer.

It is important to note that Honda Motors is experiencing the continuous decline in its sales in India.  Though the industry is seeing consistent growth the figures for Honda cars are dismal. The main reason for this is thought to be the absence of diesel car in India.
