Banking industry is one of the most reputed and booming industry in India these days. So many banks are recruiting new employees, marketing and finance people from around the coutry to help grow the business.

If you are one of those who wants to join this field, Bank of Baroda has tied up with Manipal Group to start a Baroda Manipal School of Banking. The school has been set up to first train prospective candidates in Banking and Finance before they can start their career in this field.

The students are selected through a rigorous selection process and given a systematic training in various areas of Banking and management disciplines in order to make them ready Bankers by the time they finish the programme.

1st batch of the Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Banking and Finance from the Baroda Manipal School of Banking has 180 students who will start their training from July 2011. The Baroda Manipal School of Banking application started on 25th April and ended on 16th May 2011.

The selection for Baroda Manipal School Of Banking will be through a multi stage selection process comprising of:

1. Aptitude Test (In online mode only)
2. Group Discussion
3. Interview

If you are already selected for the Baroda Manipal School of Banking, students can download their 2011 Admit Cards from the website by entering their registration number and date of birth.

This course will cost Rs. 3 Lacs to the student. During the course the student will be paid a stipend amount of Rs. 2500/- during class room training phase of 9 months & Rs. 10,000/- during Internship phase of 3 months) to meet out of pocket expenses.
