Lot of companies are eyeing on Diwali this year. Samsung is planning to launch its much awaited Samsung Galaxy Tablet in India this coming Diwali (November 8th to be the exact date). Samsung is also planning to sell Galaxy Tablet in United States, Japan, South Korea and Italy this year.

So what's the price you are going to pay for the Samsung Galaxy Tablet in India?

Samsung has priced the product at 38,000 rupees ($854) for Indian. There is no information on the network service provider for the Samsung Galaxy in India yet.

The features of Galaxy Tab include picture taking and video chat with cameras mounted in the front and back. The weight of the Galaxy Tab is considerably less than the iPad.

The Galaxy Tab will include Android 2.2, called Froyo, that can be upgraded to Android 3.0,called Gingerbread. However, the next version of the Android operating system, known as Honeycomb will not be available for the Galaxy Tab.
