Vodafone Essar in Kerala has launched a missed call information service with new features. Customers now will receive a personalized SMS from the number of the person whose call was missed.
To activate this service, postpaid customers needs to send an SMS 'ACT MCI' to 111 while prepaid customers needs to send an SMS 'ACT MCI' to 144. You will be charged Rs. 30/month on an auto renewal basis.
I didn't understand what this means though.. "Customer will receive a personlised SMS from the number of the person whose call was missed!".. does anybody have any idea how this works??
