There's good news for all the pretty girls of Ahmedabad. Pantaloons Femina Miss India, for the very first time, is coming to our very own Ahmedabad to hold auditions. The auditions will be held at Pantaloons store, near Law Garden, from 10 am onwards on November 27, 2007.

Amruta Patki (Pantaloons Femina Miss Earth Air 2006) will judge the auditions. Names of the finalists will be announced at a press conference following the auditions. “This is the first time Pantaloons Femina Miss India is covering various cities. Our objective is to unearth potential talent,” says Sameer Soni, national director of Pantaloons Femina Miss India.

Pantaloons Femina Miss India is planning to do the similar auditions in different cities like Agra, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Goa, Guwahati, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nasik, and Pune. Femina Miss India 2008 auditions are sponsored by Radio Mirchi and Safi.

Pantaloons Femina Miss India also announced for the first time, its exclusive South based Pantaloons Femina Miss India South (PFMIS) 2008. South India has always been the land of great Indian beauty; the likes of Lara Dutta, Diana Hayden, Dia Mirza, and Pooja Chitgopekar have been highly successful in representing India internationally and have created a niche for themselves.
