Toyota Opens Toyota Technical Training Institute (TTTI) in India

Toyota Motor Corporation announced that Toyota Kirloskar Motors Pvt. Ltd opened the Toyota Technical Training Institute (TTTI) for middle school graduates in Bangalore, India.

 

The institute is build on 1,851 sq. m with a land area of 48,726 sq. m. on the grounds of TKM, Bangalore district, Karnataka State.

 

TTTI instruction will center on four technical-skill courses: painting, welding, automobile assembly and mechatronics.  The three-year curriculum will include academic classes on engineering and practical training at TKM.  All students will live in a dormitory and be exempt from paying entrance fees and tuition. The institute has a total number of staff 25. The institute will have approximately 60 students per grade, total of 180 across three academic years.

 

The students will be paid a monthly stipend in the range of Rs 1,800 and Rs 2,200 for the duration of the course.

 

According to Toyota, which is looking at a significant expansion, all the 64 students might be offered job by the company once they complete the course. ( Business Standard)
