The first model to be launched in India would be the Aston Martin Rapide. Also coming soon to India from Aston Martin are the DBS, the DB9 and the Vantage.
The Rapide is powered by a 6000 cc V12 engine that makes 496bhp @ 6000rpm and drives the rear wheels via a Touchtronic 2 six-speed transmission. Maximum torque is 612Nm at 5000 rpm. This car can touch the speeds of 100kmph is about 5.2 seconds. Maximum speed (possibly electronically limited) is 184 mph (296 kmph).
The Aston Martin Rapide Sports car would be priced approximately at Rs 2 crore in India.The DB9 is a 2-door, 4-seater sports car from Aston Martin. Available as a coupe and a convertible (Volante) the DB9 is powered by a 5900cc V12 that makes 470Bhp and 600Nm of torque. This is the same engine that also powers its elder sibling, the V12 Vanquish. It does a top speed of 305 kmph and can do a dash to 100kmph in 4.7 seconds. Aston Martin dubs the DB9 as a car that offers a supreme combination of driver involvement, character, luxury and refinement. The DB 9 would be priced at Rs. 1.9 crore in India.
The Aston Martin Vantage is powered by a 4.8litre V8 engine thats capable of making 420bhp and 480Nm of torque and can do speeds of 290kph. According to some reports, V8 would be priced at Rs 1.28 crore and the V1 around Rs 1.94 crore.
