INDIA
Now when you go to FT.com (Financial Times) from India, you will be taken to a "Indian" specific home page. FT.com, a UK based business news paper has just launched its Indian version. India would be the first country in Asia to have FT.com's special edition.
The FT.com India homepage will carry local and global news relevant for the Indian market. The business daily will create some special content, including videos, only for the India homepage. However, there are no plans to expand the FT.com India homepage page to a full-fledged India edition, clarifies Angela Mackay, executive director and head, Asia Pacific, Financial Times, in an e-mail response to afaqs.
So here is the screenshot of FT.com's Indian home page. When you visit the FT.com, on the top left corner of the site, above the "Financial Times" title, you will see "India" as a country. If you want to see "US" or "UK" edition, you can select from the drop down and you will be directed to that country specific page.
FT.com ranks 959 (according to Alexa) in India. I wonder the traffic from India would be much more than these numbers..
