This point and shoot cameras are made to fit in a cocktail purse which can take HD landscapes and offer super telephoto capabilities.
The WB650/ HZ35W both carry a 24mm ultra wide angle which extends into a 15X optical zoom. The camera offers an optical image stabilization system for hand wavering by shifting the lens during each movement. When optical image stabilization is not up to the mark the digital image stabilization system takes over it to ensure blur free images.
The 3.0” AMOLED display is brighter and sharper can even be viewed in direct sunlight. An AMOLED screen offers improved battery life, higher contrast ratio, more vibrant colors. The WB650 (HZ35W) has a built-in GPS to tag the images with the exact location that they were taken.
The both cameras have a video recorder which has 720p resolution at 30fps using H.264 compression. The HDMI connectivity enables the camera to be connected directly to a HDTV.Samsung’s advanced scene recognition technology, Smart Auto, which has been upgraded to be used with video as well as with still images.
The weight of the camera is yet to be disclosed, though the dimensions have been released as 106.6 x 60.5 x 28mm.
The product is expected to hit the market in March.
