NSDL-e-service
If you are an investor and is always on the move, NSDL (National Securities Depository Ltd) has made your life simple now. Investors can now submit share delivery instructions for pay-in purposes through their GPRS-enabled mobile phones using a new facility by National Securities Depository Ltd.

The service is called SIMPLE (Submission of Instruction through Mobile Phone Login Easily) which will allow investors to submit their delivery instructions to transfer securities to their broker account (clearing member pool account) for pay-in through GPRS handsets.

If you want to avail this service, you will have to register to “SPEED-e service”. This is a facility to submit delivery instructions through the net, as a “Password User” through NSDL Depository participants.

Upon successful login to the SPEED-e Web site, the option to submit instructions, view ISINs and Settlement Calendar will be available on the user’s mobile phone. The user will be able to use any of these options using the keypad of the mobile phone or by touching/clicking the screen of the mobile phone if it has an inbuilt touch-screen feature,” a news release from NSDL said.
