Google Brings Voice Search To Nokia Users

Nokia Mobile users can now command their mobile phones to bring them the information using their voice. Google has launched a mobile application for Nokia handset users to seek information on specific needs using their voice.

The application is equipped with speech recognition technology to understand Indian accents. Its software enables users of Nokia S60 handsets to access information on the internet by voice search.

The application is free and can also give you information on a cricket match, a restaurant or pharmacy location and local business listings by voice search.

It is a downloadable application and automatically detects the user's location and facilitates faster access to Google search

Voice search speeds up the process of conducting a Google search using a Nokia mobile after downloading the application. It also gives you suggestions to most popular searches as you type in the google search application.

I cannot believe the extent of technologies that google is cranking out these days. The amount of integration between mobile apps is amazing. I use google maps for all of my gps stuff and it gets me around well. This sounds like another great app. Does anyone here know if this will work for an Nokia xpress music 5800? some apps work and some don't between s60 and xpressmusic.
