Kerala users can now also get onto the 1 paisa/sec billing bandwagon. Vodafone has announced that its prepaid customers will now be able to get 1 paisa per second tariff for all local and STD calls made to Vodafone.

The Recharge voucher is Rs 67 and is bundled with a free SIM card with lifelong validity. Vodafone customers will be charged at 1p/sec for all local and STD calls to Vodafone and 1.2p/sec for all local and STD calls on other networks. The recharge offers a talk time of Rs 5 and comes with a tariff validity of one year from the date of recharge.

The 1p/sec tariff is not restricted to new users, existing subscribers can also avail of the tariff benefit at a recharge of Rs 64 (with zero talk time).

Vodafone has introduced two more recharges of Rs 250 or Rs 125 where the existing prepaid customers can avail the 1p/sec call rate (within the home network, does not apply while roaming).

Rs 250 offers a talk time of Rs 244.65 with validity of 30 days

Rs 125 recharge offers a talk time of Rs 111.33 with validity of 15 days. SMS, Roaming and ISD rates remain unchanged and will be applicable as per the customers’ base tariff plan.
