T20 World Cup 2009 - Indian Team Declared

Now that we have finished half of the IPL 2009, lets get ready for T20 World Cup 2008. India was the T20 World Cup champion in 2008 and now India has declared its team for T20 World Cup 2009. Any guesses here?

Dhoni is named captain of India's squad announced Monday to defend the Twenty20 World Cup title in England. Several new players including Ravindra Jadeja and left arm-spinner Pragyan Ojha are also included in the team. Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid are not part of World Cup T20 team.

World cup will be starting from June 5 in England at Lord's between England and Netherlands. The T20 world cup final will be on June 21st.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Virender Sehwag (vice-captain), Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan, Rohit Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, Praveen Kumar, R P Singh, Ravindra Jadeja, Pragyan Ojha and Irfan Pathan.
