Currently Blackberry is available only with Reliance, Airtel and Vodafone. But now you can buy unlocked Blackberry in India and can use it with your choice of mobile service provider.

BlackBerry RIM has collaborated with Redington India -- a distributor for popular brands like Nokia, Western Digital, IBM, Canon, Samsung, Seagate, APC, Asus, Computer Associates, Cisco, HCL and Hitachi.

You will be able to get unlocked BlackBerry Pearl, BlackBerry Curve and BlackBerry Bold. BlackBerry smartphones and service plans from supported carriers will initially be available across nine cities: Mumbai, Delhi, NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune and Ahmedabad.

Dear Sir,

I have bought 9700bold blackberry from US, and by mistake its hardlock and 0 attempts left now. I understand that it can be unlocked only if its handed over physically, can you help me?

I am also using the blackberry curve mobile locked to vodafone.I unlocked my mobile using the code.I got the unlocking code from unlocking4U.com .It's useful for me.
