CNN Launches Mobile Version And Application

CNN, Cable News Network which carries news, current affairs and business programming world-wide has now expanded its reach from TV and web to mobile phone users. CNN International has announced the launch of CNNMobile.com, a comprehensive mobile news site across 49 countries and territories in the Asia Pacific region.

This mobile version will have CNN's 360-degree mobile solutions, live streaming mobile TV, SMS breaking news alert services etc. While CNNMobile can be accessed from anywhere around the world with data connection, Mobile TV is not available for all the countries. Currently cNN Mobile TV is only available to selected countries with selected mobile operators. India is not among one of those countries.

SMS news alerts are also being offered by CNN International but it is only free for first 3 months. You can signup for CNN SMS news alert here. If you don't want any of them, you can download CNN news mobile application from cnnmobile.com/app. It supports phones that supports java.
