I am not asking you to go into your storage room or basement and find old news papers. You just have to use Google News to read all those 60s or 70s newspapers and that too online.
Google started a project back in 2006 to digitize stories from newspapers such as Washington Post and the New York Times but looks like now Google is expanding this project. Google is working with a growing number of newspapers to “bring history online” by digitizing archives of articles ranging from lunar landings to local obituaries.
So exactly how you can read those archived newspapers?
Go to Google News and search for the historical stories such as "Moon Landing" or "Gandhi Death" and look for the news title that has "Google News Archive" next to it. Once you click on it, you will see the digital(scanned) version of the news paper.
Pretty Cool huh!..
