Out of many issues of Delhi and India during the Common Wealth Games 2010, atleast one problem would be acted upon by Eco-Activate and Vodafone.

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), along with Eco-Activate and Vodafone, has rolled out E-rickshaws, an eco friendly electric auto rickshawas. So don't be surprised if you see these three wheeler harbinger or green age.

These eco friendly auto rickshaws are called E-Rick which is developed by Eco-Activate and offers a pollution free alternative mode of transportation in the national capital.

E-Rick’s main components are fully recyclable polyethylene cabin, a heavy duty modular steel frame and an advanced, digitally controlled electric propulsion system.

the E-rick would be available for commuters on the routes: Chandni Chowk, Saket – Press club Road, IIT – SDA Market area, GK II and Delhi University – North Campus.

And don't be surprised to see some Vodafone commercials on these green puppy..
