Google has started a new campaign to better its Mapping solution, Google Maps. As millions of internet user, I also have setup Google as my homepage. While I was trying to search something, I saw a tip below the search box "Help holiday guests find you. Fix your address on Google Maps". Fix your address?? I clicked on the link and I was taken to the maps edito promo for holiday.

Check out the few screenshots that I captured. I am not sure how many of you have noticed that now if you search for any address in Google Maps, you will see new "Edit" link. Basically it gives you an option to place the address marker to the right position. But if you move the marker more than 200 meters, that would go through some thorough inspection. 

 

 

You can also see the history of the changes made for a particular address. Though this is probably only available for USA. I am not sure if the same is available for UK or other countries yet.
