It was back in 1994 when people didn't know what internet is and how it would change people's lives in the future. But now that everyone knows what's the internet, you will see all kinds of amazing usages of Internet.

Google Engineer Alexander Chen created a nice musical website using MTA's NYC Subway Maps API and HTML5. Check out this amazing video. At www.mta.me, Conductor turns the New York subway system into an interactive string instrument. Using the MTA’s actual subway schedule, the piece begins in realtime by spawning trains which departed in the last minute, then continues accelerating through a 24 hour loop.
