Google Street View is a very powerful add-on feature for Google maps that gives you a real life view of any location. Google Street View is currently available for countries like USA, UK, Canada and many other. India is not so lucky. But looks like that is changing.

I was playing around with Google Maps today and noticed that now you can see the "Street View Yellow Person" Icon on top of the zoom tool.

Once you click on that icon and drag it to the map, you will see blue dots appearing on the map. Those blue dots are actually pictures taken by users and uploaded by users to Panoramio.

Looks like Google is working on the Street View for India but meanwhile, they have combined the "Photos" with the Street View.
