Blackberry users rejoice! Google has eventually launched an updated variant of Google Maps for Blackberry devices. The stylish version of Maps offers a host of new features that were not present in the early versions of the software. These comprise Buzz integration, starred locations and Labs for Maps.
Other features include the addition of voice search. Users can now speakout their search queries - as a substitute of typing them. This feature is similar to the one we saw on the Nexus One - albeit applied on a smaller scale. Once you say your search query, Google will then bring results and exhibit them on a map comparative to the user's location.
The Buzz integration will allow users to post their updates using their Buzz account from Maps. There is also an alternative for users to access stored locations on the desktop edition of maps. If that wasn't all, several of the labs features recently introduced to Google Maps are applicable on this mobile version as well.
To get the latest edition of Google Maps 4.0 for Blackberry, all you need to do is to head to http://m.google.com/maps in your Blackberry’s Internet Browser- and the rest should be a cakewalk. Includes Buzz incorporation starred locations and Labs for Maps
