Are you looking to add your home address in Google? Google launched its MapMaker feature few months back where users can edit the specifics of their country into the Google maps. The feature was initially launched in countries like Pakistan, Jamica, Samoa where Google didn't have lot of information. It allows users to edit the roads, enter landmarks, place information, hotels, restaurants their phone numbers and much more.

Google Maps India on the other hand has lot of information for many major cities. If you look at Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad etc major cities, Google Maps India shows quite a bit of information. But still Google India Maps doesn't have details of small bus stops or some apartment complexes or societies. So now Google MapMaker has included India as one of the country where people can edit the map.

So if you want a near by Pan wala on the Google Map India or want your community listed on the Google India Maps, here is your chance to do it. All you need is a Google Login and once you are logged into Google, you can visit Google MapMaker. You can then zoom into the places you want to edit/update and start entering right information. Looks like Google maps India will then rotate those new entered information across different users to verify their correctness and once it is verified, it will be eventually available under Google India Maps. So get ready to search for your nearby Pan Wala's phone number in Google India Maps.
