Make Free Calls To USA & Canada From Gmail

Google is making a phone call more easier and cheaper.. FREE. If you have used Gmail voice and video chat, you know how cool it is to actually have a nice conversation with someone from within your gmail window.

But here comes another cool feature. Call your friends, family, relatives from within your gmail account.

Starting today, you can call any phone right from Gmail. Calls to the U.S. and Canada will be free for at least the rest of the year and calls to other countries will be billed at low rate

Dialing a phone number works just like a normal phone. Just click “Call phone” at the top of your chat list and dial a number or enter a contact’s name.

If you have a Google Voice phone number, calls made from Gmail will display this number as the outbound caller ID. And if you decide to, you can receive calls made to this number right inside Gmail.

Google is rolling out this feature for US based users in next few days.  So for now this feature is only available to US customers only.

    i have my mother, grand mother , aunt & uncles , who's live in the U.S.A and it cost a lot of money to make calls to the U.S.A .SO i am asking u for an g mail link please thanks

    hi,

    I had used the free call by gmail... i found that the voice clarity both the ends were good... but it was said to be me that it is for rest of the year but i used it only once, when am trying to use it twice am unable to access for the calls.
