Free Facebook Access For Airtel UsersThe telecom operator Bharti Airtel has ensured free access for its 130 million subscribers to the social network site Facebook. This news has been released on Monday. However it is expected that this offer will be valid only for only two months- till August 31st.
For this period the Facebook site will be available in seven languages-English, Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. According to an Airtel statement the customers of the company will have the option to use the Facebook’s mobile site for free directly from their mobile phones for 2 months period.
The customers who visit the site for the first time will have to send an SMS containing the word FACEBOOK to the number 54321 in order to be able to access the site.
