Microsoft DreamSpark Free Softwares With College ID

Here is one more benifit of being a student. Microsoft has launched a new initiative called DreamSpark. DreamSpark enables students to download microsoft developer and design tools at no charge. This is Microsoft's answer to Google's developer challenges.

Microsoft wants new talent to unlock their creative potential using microsoft's developer and design tools. So what do you have to do to get these free microsoft softwares?

You need Microsoft Live ID. If you don't have one, you can create it now. There are few things happen offline. You need to locate microsoft partner locations near your city.

Visit the partner location, show your college identity card and collect the software DVD. That software DVD will have a 25 digit verification key.

Once you have the verification key, you can download your favourite microsoft developer/design tools from DreakSparkIndia.com.

The initiative is good but seems like the site is designed by a student who got the kit for free.
