googleGoogle is getting ready for the FIFA World Cup which is just two days away from the start.

It has changed its header at the bottom of the page for the search word "World Cup" where the user clicks to change the page. The change that has been made is the familiar word “Goooooogle” has been replaced with “Gooooooooal”.

Google Brings Secure Search Option

sslGoogle is offering its Secured Socket Layer (SSL) support for its web searches, earlier it was only provided for Gmail and Google Docs. Users can easily recognize the SSL connection by looking at “https” or “protected” flag on the web browser.

SSL supported site gives protection to the information you transmit by encrypting the data, which means the data you send out is being protected from people and bots that is monitoring your network.

Google Wave Goes Public

waveGoogle has made a couple of changes to its existing products like Google Wave, Google Docs and Calendar .Google Wave now goes public so, now general public can access it. The interface of the Google calendar has been changed and features of Google Docs have been improved. These changes are effective immediately.

Until now, the Google Wave was an invite only service and has taken loads of criticism for causing fuss over the internet especially against Twitter. The service now is opened to general public which can be accessed directly by signing in to wave through the Google account.

chromeGoogle has released its new version of Chrome Browser : Chrome 5 Beta. The fact that Google is making steady inroads into the fiercely competitive browser is now a known fact. From its launch in Oct'08 Chrome has manged to grab 5% market share over the short interval.

Previously Google has launched many versions of browser with new optimisation and features. The new Chrome 5 Beta comes with new faster search and other added features. Now, we're wondering how fast could an already zippy browser go?
