New Bangalore International Airport has been operational for quite some time now. The new airport is great and with all hi-tech features and construction, it ads value to Bangalore. But as you all know, the airport is little too far. So if you are flying to new Bangalore International Airport, you might need a shuttle service from Airport to city or your place. You can always get the taxi back home but I am sure it would be really expensive.

So if you are planning for Bangalore/Bengaluru International Airport Bus Booking, here is a good news. TicketVala.com has partenered with BMTC (Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation) to provide a real time online bus booking on buses that shuttle every 15 mins from City to Bangalore International Airport (BIAL).

Anyone Can Create SearchMela.com

ImageTripMela.com, the site that provides online travel specials in India announced a new "SO Called" website SearchMela.com. According to the release, its a megasearch engine that allows cosumers (they think of cosumers as morons..I will tell you why I said that later) to compare hotel rates from multiple websites from one page.

So big deal.. the website SearchMela.com is not that big of a deal anyways. At first I thought the website might have some sort of algorithm which can compare the hotel, flight ticket prices and can give you nice visual interface. But guess what? Its nothing like that. SearchMela is just a front end with affiliate search forms from Yatra, ClearTrip and other travel portals.  Check out the image below..

ImageIf you are living in Bangalore, you already know how is the traffic in Bangalore. Sometimes bangalore gets gridlocked traffic. Bangalore has over 2.5 million vehicles choking the city thoroughfares and makes roads congestions. According to the traffic police, about 10,000 vehicles, including two-wheelers, cars, buses and trucks ply every hour on the busy thoroughfare to the new airport.

So to provide executive, easy-to-reach-city service to business customers, Deccan Aviation has launched a helicopter service between the new Bangalore international airport and India's IT hub to ferry commuters hardpressed for time to cover the 40 km on choked roads. The fare ranges from Rs.4,800 to Rs.5,800 per trip and the distance will be covered in 15 to 20 minutes.
