Android has powered a micro-processor in dongle form to be plugged into your television set to enhance its efficiency and turn it into a smart TV. This is perfect if you are looking to upgrade your television with smart features without having to spend much money.

The Dubai-based company, Infinitec, has come out with a small micro-computer in a black plastic case which looks like a small USB dongle. This micro-computer will turn your HDTV into a large computer screen. It has an output of 1080 pixel resolution through an HDMI 1.3 connection. The Pocket TV runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It allows the user to connect to Google Play Store to download applications.

Infinitec has provided a microSD port which will adapt to any microSD card up to 32 GB in order to store the applications and media on this device. The Pocket TV has 4 GB of internal memory. It runs on a 1 GHz ARM processor along with 1GB of RAM. It will connect through 802.11 b/g/n as well as Bluetooth.

For storage, it comes with a USB 2.0 input on the side and it can be plugged in any of your other electronic devices and that may include an external hard drive. Users can plug a high definition video camera for video calls. The standard version of the Pocket TV comes with a basic IR remote using the directional pad navigation and there is another version with an advanced remote that has a gyroscopic sensor.
