This is not a joke and it is true! A new website that is dedicated to the superstar Rajnikanth is running without an internet connection. A portal for all Bollywood news, Desimartini.com, has released a micro site called `desimartini.com/allaboutrajni’. When you enter this site and want to browse after being connected to the internet, a message pops up and says, “This was unexpected. To keep browsing, switch off your internet.”

So, to enter this site, you can log out of your internet connection. If you try to switch the internet connection on again, another message will show your error in a Rajnikanth style. It will say, “Aiyyo! That was unexpected. To keep browsing, switch off your internet.”

The website has been designed by Webchutney for Desimartini.com. The developers of this site who have been inspired by Rajnikanth wanted to make this site unique in all the possible ways.  Webchutney designed this website as a mandate for Rajnikanth’s sixty-first birthday. After going through some initial planning, they wanted the website to run without an internet connection.

Visitors are greeted with a warning that says, “He is no ordinary man. This is no ordinary website. It runs on Rajni power.” Visitors can see some interesting material on Rajnikanth. You can read about his stunts, his images and interesting jokes on this site.  It has three sections. It is about the man, the superstar and the legend.

The website is based on a complex algorithm that is running in the back end and it keeps an eye on the proliferation of data packets between two terminals. The website has received solid response across the net. It is being talked about on Facebook and Twitter.
